As training camp winds down, Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta is excited and can’t wait for his fight on ESPN Friday Nights Fight on August 3rd, 2012 at the Texas Station Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. Mercito has trained hard for this fight and is ready to show the world his talents in the boxing ring.
In Mercito’s recent interview with San Diego’s XX Sports 1090 Radio, he stated “My real inspiration is my dad, he’s a fighter and that’s why I’m here!” This is a testament in his daily training at the C-MAC gym in National City, San Diego where Mercito trains daily with his father, Anecito Gesta Sr. The two work strongly with one another and it will pay off in the ring on August 3rd.
