Happy New Years from Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta, Gesta Family, and Team Gesta.  We look forward to a start of a great new year!

Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta will open a new chapter in his book for the quest to be a champion.  He will put words in each page of his book documenting his journey this year which will note his will and determination to come back stronger.  Knowing how to deal with misfortunes over the past few weeks is a testament of how strong Mercito’s character, inspiration, and faith are today.

As quoted by Vera Nazarian, “The bell can only be seen at the turning of the year, when the days wind down into nothing, get ready to march out again.  When you hear the bell, you feel a tug at your heart.  It is your immortal inspiration.”

To all the No Mercy fans, thanks again for all the support and encouragement.  Onwards to the next boxing ring bell, when we hear….”From Mandaue City of the Philippines, fighting out of San Diego…..MERCITO “NO MERCY” GESTA”

You have two young filipino men who are both driven, extremely talented, and hungry for success.  Both started with nothing and through hard work and dedication they became known and recognized in their worlds of entertainment.  Professional boxer, Mercito “NO MERCY” Gesta (San Diego, CA), a very skilled fighter who has earned his respect and made his presence be known in the boxing world.  Hailing out of the Bay Area (Vallejo, CA) rapper/entrepreneur, DL da ARSUN who has created a solid fan base abroad and known for his relentless GRIND in the music industry to be one of the hardest working independent artist in the game.

Through a mutual friend, Ryan Largo, these GRINDERS would soon come to combine forces.  DL has written a song just for Mercito titled “SHOW’EM NO MERCY.”  This is just not any song, its a song that would lift the boxers spirit in difficult circumstances and over all motivate Mercito to show the world what “NO MERCY” is truly about.

Mercito, DL da ARSUN, as well as Ryan Largo met in San Diego recently to confirm and discuss No Mercy’s song.  As a result to the song, the two entertainers decided to take it a step further for fans on both sides.  In February 2013 DL da ARSUN and No Mercy will be a shooting a music video shoot by the one and only popular Bay Area director Brian Storm.

Between these two entertainers, you can only expect nothing but the best as to the outcome of this video.  Be prepared for the “Show’em No Mercy” video that is guaranteed to go viral!  Check out DL da ARSUN  and youtube: DL da ARSUN.

Never count Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta out!  On December 8, 2012, Mercito lost his first ever fight against Miguel Vazquez in a unanimous decision for the IBF Lightweight Title fight (FIGHT PHOTOS) at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.  As Miguel Vazquez retained his IBF Title, he visited Mercito in his locker room and told him that he is a strong fighter and will be a champion one day.

As stated by Bert Salamida, one of Mercito’s fans in San Diego,  “Failure is a stepping stone on the path to success”.   Although Mercito suffered his first failure in his boxing career, Mercito will learn from this championship fight, grow to become stronger and hungrier, and build the confidence once again to be the champion that Vazquez predicts in the future.   This failure was a big stepping stone for Mercito which will eventually lead to future success in his boxing career.

Fans and family (EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS) all over the world believe in Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta and we are proud of his courage and efforts during his championship fight.

From Mercito, Gesta Family, and Team Gesta, “Thanks to everyone for all the support!”
