Over the weekend, Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta and Team Gesta visited inspiring young kids who love the sport of boxing.  At the grand opening of Bound Boxing in Chula Vista on Saturday, August 11th, 2012, Mercito walked into the gym with gleaming smiles from young kids in every corner of the gym.  These young and talented kids took turns shaking Mercito’s hand and anxiously waited for his autograph, pictures, and the chance to hold his NABO Youth Championship belt.  As one of the managers in the gym stated, “Mercito Gesta is a role model for all these kids striving to fulfill their dreams in the sport of boxing.  Mercito is young and these kids want to be like him when they grow up.”

Mercito Gesta enjoyed every minute of his visit and provided autographs and took photos with everyone at the Bound Boxing gym.  From Mercito Gesta and Team Gesta, thank you as it was a pleasure and honor to be present at the gym.
